Some name of Computer’s symbol which are very important. We can not think a complete computer without these components. I try to narrate every symbol’s name and shortcut-full name.
CPU : “Central
Processing Unit” which shortcut name is CPU. It is controlling part of a Computer, where process verity works. It is a main part of a computer.
RAM : “Random Access Memory” which shortcut name is
RAM. RAM is a very very important part of a computer. It is a momentary memory of a computer. It has no power to save a file after shutdown of computer.
ROM : “Read Only Memory” which shortcut name is ROM. It is addressed as a Primary Memory. It is a permanent memory. Basically, It is tow kind, for example --- 1) Rom Bios and 2) Rom Basic. Rom Bios uses in Mother Board of a computer and Rom Basic’s using is not at this time.
BUS : BUS is a way or path which is using to transfer
DATA in place to place. It is called BUS
for data transferring power.
BIOS : Basic Input Output System which shortcut is
BIOS. Computer has some instructions which connect through Hardware and
Software. Every instructions store into ROM.
BOOTING : Booting is to load Operating System into
System Memory from Floppy Disk, CD ROM Driver, Pen Drive , DVD ROM Driver or Hard Disk.
So, Operating System loading process or loading time is called Booting.
Startup Disk : Startup disk is a disk, which
use to boot a computer. It is also backup disk of Windows.
Bootable Disk : Bootable disk is an external disk
which use to boot a new Windows to a computer.
Format : Format is a word. We format a disk to do
usable. Any disk would not be
usable without format.
Partition : Partition is a part of hard disk,
which divide a hard disk part to part or
drive to drive. Like--- Local Disk(C), Local Disk (D), Local Disk(E) etc.
Bit : Bit which elaboration is Binary Digit. ( 0 or
1). It is an electronic signal of Computer. Like--- 0 = Off and 1= On etc.
Byte : Byte which elaboration is Binary Digit Eight.
It is group which is collected from Eight Binary Digit .
